Jam Slam

The other day strawbs were cheap!
So, obviously- I bought heaps ๐Ÿ˜€

But whoops, thereย were just too many,
andย if I didn’t eat them, they’d go funny ๐Ÿ˜

Chopped and ready to jam! ๐Ÿ˜‰

so I decided to whip up a batch of jam
it worked out well because I’m a toast fan ๐Ÿ˜€

1. Measure and transport

Super easy and super quick,
and the chia seeds made it super thick

2. Chuck ’em in the blender with some chia

It’s really easy, all you need to do,
is wash, chop, and blend it into goo ๐Ÿ˜‰

6. Fire it up! Let the chia seeds do their magic ๐Ÿ˜€

chuck it into a pot,ย 
and simmer ’til it bubbles and pops

I like to hoard jars. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

chuck it in a jar you’ve got
but be careful because it’s really hot! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

7. Choose a couple jars 8. Let it cool down 9. Try not to eat it all with a spoon ๐Ÿ˜›

Then devour on some toast or yog
or with a spoon – just like this jam hog! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Looks great. You should head out to Nagano and Gunma in Summer and go fruit picking. I’m going to be making a bunch of jams and preserves this summer! It’s so hard to find cheap fruit in Tokyo!
