Thai Festival

This weekend up in Yoyogi,
they had the Thai festival going

Thailand’s best!

One of my faves of the year,
because it’s yumminess amidst the cheer

WOW was sooooo packed! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Now that I’m vegan, it was a bit tough
but I only wanted Thai desserts, so it was enough!

thai fest 3
Khanom Chan – Thai layer cake made with sticky rice flour, coconut milk, sugar and pandan extract! ๐Ÿ˜€ SOOO DELISH

Pretty sure I could make this stuff at home,
but the fruit omg, my tastebuds were blown!

thai fest 2
No cutlery so my friend stabbed a straw hole through it (the bugger!) ๐Ÿ˜›ย

Had Khanom Chan,
which was better heated up

also had Khao Tom Mat
forgot to snap a pic of it but ๐Ÿ˜

thai fest 1
I’ve got a lovely bag of coconut ๐Ÿ˜›

also had a freshly cracked coconut
My bevvy of choice, fresh AF!

  1. So jealous! You find all the best festivals. The vegan one, and now this! How do you do it? I’d love to go to a Thai fest one day! I’ve always wanted to try mango sticky rice hehe ๐Ÿ˜€

      1. Oh awesome! That site has everything. I so wish I were closer to Tokyo right now! It costs about $50 and four hours round trip by bus (two hours each way). Do you make it out there often?
