Ricky + this chicky

When I first arrived in Japan for Jet
I was at Narita and hadn’t even gone through customs yet

I was with my friend Sam and we met Ricky standing in line,
he was from Darwin, well actually Brisbane – well just the north side

After Jet orientation, I went to Saitama and he went to Shizuoka,
but we became fast friends and kept in touch through social media

He finished Jet and went home last year,
but yay he came back and spent a couple weeks here!

What we have in common is a love of fashion,
that and eating everything we can get our hands on πŸ˜‰

But now that I’m a vegan, it got a bit tricky
but luckily he’s so easy going, this Ricky

We went to Omotesando to a cool Japanese place
It had a natural, wooden facade and ambient space

Left was mine – steamed veg set Right was Ricky’s – fried tofu set
The pumpkin appetizer (so good)
My steamed veg
Ricky’s fried tofu

We each got a lunch set and man they were huge,
but so damn delicious I could’ve eaten two!

1. Cat Street 2. We both spent ages taking photos of the food πŸ˜›

After that we went and wandered around
for shopping Omotesando is a good part of town

Bonsai Party
Somewhere down Cat Street

Obviously we couldn’t not have heaps of selfies, πŸ˜›
and lucky me he even brought me pressies!

Thanks Ricky! SOOOO GOOD – ate it way too quickly

Can’t wait til we can see each other again,
It’s nice we’re complete opposites but still such good friends πŸ™‚
